About Us
Send Girls to School is an education and advocacy project that supports education for girls in the developing world in the following ways:
- Compiling and sharing information about the impact of girls’ education and what individuals and groups can do to help.
- Publicizing the projects of organizations working to assist girls’ education and supporting their fundraising efforts.
- Writing and publishing articles and interviews about the relationship of girls’ education to global poverty and successful projects to educate girls.
- Providing speakers to groups and events on the topic of girls’ education.
The Send Girls to School Project was launched by C.J. Hayden, author, entrepreneur, and activist. C.J. is the bestselling author of Get Clients Now!, Get Hired Now!, and The One-Person Marketing Plan Workbook. She provides business and leadership coaching to social entrepreneurs and activists, and writes and speaks on the topic How to Become a Hero. C.J. serves on the boards of the Global Initiative to Advance Entrepreneurship, Volunteers for Careers, and the Coaches Make a Difference Initiative. Her articles on leadership, social entrepreneurship, and life purpose have been published by Principled Profit and Self Growth.
